AI automation for accountants and bookkeepers in Ireland

Less chasing. More advising.

Practices spend a huge share of the week on capture, chasing and data entry. We automate receipts and invoices, document chasing, onboarding paperwork and deadline reminders, connected to Xero, QuickBooks or Sage.

Violet is the admin time each task takes now; gold is the part automation takes over. A team of 8, 39-hour weeks, 40% of time on admin, using the calculator's starting assumptions for accounting & bookkeeping. An estimate, not a client result.

Example automations

Receipt and invoice capture

Clients send photos or forward emails. Details are read, checked and posted to the right ledger in Xero or QuickBooks, with anything odd flagged.

Chasing client documents

Each client gets a personal list of what's missing and polite reminders until it arrives. Your team sees one dashboard instead of fifty email threads.

Onboarding and KYC paperwork

New clients fill in one online form, upload ID and sign the engagement letter. The file is set up before the first meeting.

VAT and tax deadline reminders

Clients are reminded of deadlines and what you need from them, early enough to avoid the last-minute rush.

Hours saved: run your own numbers

For a team of eight, that's about 66 hours a week, or 1.7 people's worth of time, given back to the team you already have. Nobody is replaced; the time goes back into customers and the work that pays.

Your business won't be exactly typical. The calculator opens with these assumptions filled in, and you can change your team size, admin load, revenue and every task.

FAQs

Can AI do bookkeeping?

It can do a lot of the capture: reading receipts and invoices, suggesting categories and matching transactions. A person still reviews and approves. The time saving is in the typing and chasing, not the judgement.

Does it work with Xero, QuickBooks and Sage?

Yes. All three connect to automation tools, and most of what we build sits on top of them rather than replacing them.

Is client financial data safe?

We keep data in your accounting system wherever possible, use EU hosting and business AI accounts that don't train on your data, and log every action.

Will clients notice?

Yes, in a good way: faster replies, clearer lists of what you need, and fewer last-minute emails.
